The Metro Node MN-215 is a high-availability, dual-node appliance designed to provide active-active synchronous replication for storage environments across metro distances or within a local data center. It virtualizes data across multiple storage arrays to deliver continuous availability, zero data loss (RPO = 0), and near-zero recovery time (RTO = 0). It supports multi-platform replication (across Dell and third-party storage arrays) without performance overhead on the arrays and requires no additional host software.
It is typically deployed in paired clusters (single or dual cluster / metro) to enable data mobility, site failover, and continuous service in the face of site failures.
